Your profile is the starting point for brand decisions
Brands use Swaya profiles to understand which student organizations might fit a campaign. A complete profile helps a brand evaluate your community before it sends an invitation or reviews your application.
The goal is not to make your organization sound right for every opportunity. The goal is to give brands enough accurate information to recognize the opportunities that genuinely fit.
Make the organization easy to recognize
Use the organization’s current name, a clear logo, the correct campus and location, and an accurate category. These details help brands find and identify your organization while browsing Swaya.
Add gallery images that show the real community, meetings, activities, or events. Choose images that provide context rather than graphics that repeat the same information already in the logo.
Describe the community, not just the mission statement
Explain who participates, what brings members together, what the organization does during the year, and which students it serves. A brand should be able to understand the community without already knowing the organization or campus.
Keep claims specific and current. If member information, activities, or links change, update the profile so brands are not making campaign decisions from outdated details.
Add events brands can discover
Events give brands a concrete way to understand where a sponsorship, product drop, table, workshop, or community initiative could happen. Add the event title, date, location, description, and useful attendance context.
An event does not need to be large to be relevant. A focused workshop, member meeting, cultural program, competition, or service initiative can be a strong fit when it reaches the right students for a campaign.
Show that the organization is ready to execute
Complete the profile, add at least one relevant event when applicable, and connect the payout account before applying widely. These steps reduce unanswered questions after a brand selects your organization.
When you apply, connect the opportunity to information already visible in your profile. Explain why your organization or event fits instead of repeating a generic interest in working with the brand.
Keep the profile current throughout the school year
Student leadership, event schedules, member information, and social links can change quickly. Review the profile at the beginning of each term and before submitting an important application.
A current profile supports the entire Swaya workflow: discovery, invitations, applications, agreements, partnership execution, and future opportunities.
